Celebration of Mary: The Maria Assumpta Nusantara Mass Dance at WFC (Carnival Climax)
Manggarai Cultural Theater & Caci Performance	Date: August 13, 2026 Location: Waterfront City Time: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. WITA Details: Participants: This caci performance is presented by students as a way to pass on and preserve cultural values
The Maria Assumpta Nusantara Procession	PARISH PROCESSION July 1—August 5, 2026 The statue of Mary of the Assumption will first be carried in a procession from parish to parish by sea to Bari (26 parishes). GRAND PROCESSION Date: August 14, 2026 Time: 3:00 p.m. WITA—End Activities: Praise, songs, and dances with an inculturative theme. Sea Procession: The statue of Mary is paraded on a pinisi boat, accompanied by dozens of ketinting motorboats. Land Procession: The procession passes through 7 stations with Scripture reflections, from WFC to Bukit Golo Koe.
Grand Mass for the Feast of Maria Assumpta	August 15, 2026 Independent Spiritual Pilgrimage Time: 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. WITA Location: Waterfront City. Grand Mass of Maria Assumpta Time: 5:00 p.m. WITA–End Location: Waterfront City. Details: Participants: 15,000 people. Theme: Feast of the Assumption of Mary. Character: Inculturated Participants: Bishops, priests, religious men and women, and the entire congregation Liturgical choir and large-scale dance performance
Closing	The festival’s closing ceremony took place after the Grand Eucharistic Celebration, marked by the striking of a gong and a fireworks display. Art performances and music concerts.
